WHAT IS THE BAXTER COMMUNITY EDUCATION FOUNDATION?

The foundation is incorporated, nonprofit, privately-funded organization. Its purpose is to support academic, performing arts, athletics, and other educational programs of the Baxter Community School District.

WHY DO WE NEED A FOUNDATION?

The Baxter School District has changed since it was founded at the turn of the century. A greater variety of courses and activities are available to the students. Baxter Community School has adapted well to these changes and continually strives to promote a quality education. District patrons can be proud of their success in keeping the district strong and independent but must recognize and address the challenges ahead.

As the cost of education continues to increase and as state funds fail to keep pace, the local district will need to assume more responsibility for funding existing successful programs. It is essential that we establish funding programs at this time that will maintain and strengthen our district's financial health far into the future.

HOW CAN YOU HELP?

Your tax deductible contribution to the Baxter Education Foundation is your most direct means of supporting the Baxter School District. This contribution can take a variety of forms.

  • Personal checks
  • Wills
  • Pledges
  • Trusts
  • Stocks
  • Estates
  • Real Estate
  • Legacies
  • Memorials
